"Go Portable" is the title that Allan Says gave a post inside of the war room under the sub-forum of My Ideas, Plans and Strategies. *No longer there by the way."
Which was a great resource for war room members. And the main reason I subscribe to the war room.
That post Go Portable, was one of his shortest posts where he talk about storing all of your stuff on a portable hard drive which would allow you to hook up to any computer; a friends, family members, public library, to do your work and leave no trace you were even there when finished.
I can't tell you how many times I read that post, along with the many others that were in that forum. A few months ago I went portable and began saving all of my files to a portable hard drive.
Right now I am in the middle of creating a product that I will be selling later this summer by the way.
Well to make a long story short, on Friday the 13th, my wife computer began blinking out due to a broken laptop case, which I fixed at my kitchen table. Just replace the bottom of the case.
After 3 hours of repair work and a happy wife, I started my computer only to be faced with starting Windows. Then a blank screen.
Then starting windows again.
Went into the bios to start it in safe mode and the darn thing wouldn't let me tab or nothing.
So I got my old Toshiba lap top and plugging the portable hard drive and went back to work.
That is the power of going portable. But of course you could use a cloud host instead of a portable hard drive. All you will need then is an Internet connection.
Glad I listen. Saved myself a month of re-working the product.
That's the true power of Going Portable.
