The Affiliate Success Goals

Goals + Free Affiliate PDF Below

Have you ever noticed how people are so curious about what holds the “#1” position on lists?  Who’s the #1 affiliate on Warrior Plus?  What’s the #1 top Traffic Model?  Where’s the #1 best SEO back linking deal on Fiverr?

No one has ever asked me, “William, what’s your #16 productivity strategy.”

People want to know what ranks at the top.

They want to know what is the best of the best.

What I am going to share with you right now is without doubt my #1 productivity strategy of all-time. It hasn’t made me the #1 Affiliate on Warrior Plus, yet… but it has made me and my business more focused and moving forward, and since we are not far into the new year, I thought you might be interested.

I’ve accomplished more with this strategy than anything else.  No exceptions.  Here it is in a nutshell…

“Prior Proper Planning Prevents Procrastination.” Brian Tracy

You stick with a plan, you will achieve it. That means, you don’t let little distractions prevent you from your daily goal. Now I am mentioning daily goals, planning, and I learned all of this years ago.

When I was a Frozen food manager, I had a daily, weekly, and a monthly planner.

When I was a plumber I scheduled the hardest tasks first (that’s called eating my frog.) Then all the easier repairs were done a little latter.

As an affiliate marketer and freelance writer, I use a planner. So much time for clients, and so much time for content creation, and so much time for promotion (list & Traffic generation.)

I write all this stuff in a notebook that I keep right next to me.

So how do you set your own Affiliate Success Goals, which you will be more productive and begin to profit from your time?

First you need to arrange your efforts around a primary purpose. Let’s take freelance writing as an example. When I have clients I generally schedule at least 2 hours to 4 hours in the morning to do nothing but create for the client.

But before you can achieve any reasonable success with any planner you need to have achievable goals. One of the biggest problems with this step is that most people set unreachable goals. “I will get 200 new subscribers today than I did yesterday.”

Achievable?

For some or for those that have big fat wallets, but for most affiliates this is really an unreasonable goal.

What is reasonable?

When it comes to any part of your business, the best practice is only Yesterday. What did you achieve yesterday? What did you achieve last week in terms of increasing your business? That’s where you should start with Yesterday.

For example:

Let’s say that you want to get a quality product ready to sell on Warrior plus, next week. If it’s going to be quality you will need a set of videos, and perhaps a viral eBook. Then you will need graphics made for your advertising, product, and website, and possibly for affiliates to use on their sites. Then you will need emails for your funnel, emails for your affiliates, promotion and JV videos.

Where are you at so far with your product?

What’s that? You just have the idea? Scratch goes the record. Ah, snap. That was my rare “Beatles album.

Remember achievable goals.

Next you need to create a list. So, you better grab a thick note book.

I have read planning books that tell you,to start at least a year in advance.
If you’re like me, that’s not going to happen.

Let’s think this through a bit…

How about a month in advance?

Okay, that is much better. Then you work it down to weeks, then daily achievable goals.

But then you will need to really think hard about all the goals that you need to do to achieve what you want to accomplish.

This sounds like a lot of hard work to me.

Now on top of thinking about every little task that will help you get to your main monthly goal, I am also going to have to think about the layout and all the questions I need to ask myself before I can get a plan together.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have access to a weekly plan that shows affiliates like you step by step, how to get your first commission in as little as seven days?

Lucky for you dear reader, I have put together such an eBook on the subject.

It’s titled “7 Day Commissions: How to get your first Affiliate Sale in the Next 7 Days” This is a meaty 30 page eBook in PDF format that gives you 7 daily goals to complete in order to start making affiliate commissions in the next week.

Remember Brian Tracy’s saying above of the five P’s?

This year let us make it…

“Prior Proper Planning Procures Profits.”
It all starts with setting a primary weekly  purpose, then creating an achievable daily goal, and the final step is to take action. If you’re struggling in your business you owe it to yourself  to download your free 7 Day Commissions, and start planning affiliate success goals Today.

Public Domain Empire

Did you know that there are over 85 million books currently in the Public domain? These books fiction, non-fiction alike have lost their copy right and you can learn how to profit from the Public Domain. That's what you are going to learn in this post...

The Public Domain Empire

According to wikipedia, “The public domain is a range of abstract materials – commonly referred to as intellectual property – which are not owned or controlled by anyone. The term indicates that these materials are therefore "public property", and available for anyone to use for any purpose”.

The Public domain includes land(s) like public parks, state and national parks, books, music, photographs, plays, poetry, public speeches, sermons, etc. Almost anything that you can imagine is in the public domain. What this means to you is that when a copy write or patent expires on an intellectual property or patent anyone may freely use that work legally in any manner they choose without the obligation to paying royalties to the creator. However, it must be stressed that blatant plagiarism is still illegal and morally wrong.

Every country has Public domain laws and it is up to you the researcher to find out what the laws of your country are before you download, use and resell public domain material. One of the simplest ways is to do a Google search on the key words “Public domain law, your country”.

So far we have discovered what the Public domain is, now let us explore vastness of its content.

Did you know that there are over 85 million books currently in the Public domain?  Wow! That is likely more books than the lost libraries of Alexandria. That does not even include music, photographs or movies and other media.

Just think for a moment that there is more knowledge and entertainment than you can shack a stick at and use for free within the book category alone than you or I can handle in two life times on every subject imaginable.

When I first discovered the Public domain I was in book heaven. I have down-loaded from a source which I will tell you about in a moment, more than two hundred books on subjects that interest myself and on niche subjects that I write about for my blogs and articles.

Some of which include self help books, economics, cooking, history, politics, science and of course on writing.

Public domain material is all over the internet including e-bay, you just have to know what you are hunting for.

The first place to started is called project Guttenburg, which is named after the Gutenburg press. This is a great place to start plundering into the riches of the Public domain. They have a great section called the top 100 which will give you title and author of the latest downloaded e-books. They also have a section that I visit quite frequently called recent books. Here they list recent digital entries to the Project Gutenburg data base.

When you download your e-book be sure to read the “legal small print” that is located at the end of the book and other information about the e-book and Project Gutenberg at the bottom of the file.  Included is important information about your specific rights and restrictions in how the file may be used.  You can also find out about how to make a donation to Project Gutenberg, and how to get involved if this interest you.

go portable even if you never leave home

"Go Portable" is the title that Allan Says gave a post inside of the war room under the sub-forum of My Ideas, Plans and Strategies. *No longer there by the way."

Which was a great resource for war room members. And the main reason I subscribe to the war room.

That post Go Portable, was one of his shortest posts where he talk about storing all of your stuff on a portable hard drive which would allow you to hook up to any computer; a friends, family members, public library, to do your work and leave no trace you were even there when finished.

I can't tell you how many times I read that post, along with the many others that were in that forum. A few months ago I went portable and began saving all of my files to a portable hard drive.

Right now I am in the middle of creating a product that I will be selling later this summer by the way.

Well to make a long story short, on Friday the 13th, my wife computer began blinking out due to a broken laptop case, which I fixed at my kitchen table. Just replace the bottom of the case.

After 3 hours of repair work and a happy wife, I started my computer only to be faced with starting Windows. Then a blank screen.
Then starting windows again.

Went into the bios to start it in safe mode and the darn thing wouldn't let me tab or nothing.

So I got my old Toshiba lap top and plugging the portable hard drive and went back to work.

That is the power of going portable. But of course you could use a cloud host instead of a portable hard drive. All you will need then is an Internet connection.

Glad I listen. Saved myself a month of re-working the product.

That's the true power of Going Portable.

Killer SPort Of Content

What I like most about sports was the content, not the game.
I always loved the way Howard Cosell, always kept things interesting with his announcement of the game on television right in front of you.

Red Smith was a great sports writer that had a wit about him.
He made yesterdays sport an event.

Both Howard Cosell, and Red Smith, were innovators of their craft.

So was Elvis Presley, Steve Jobs, Jimmy Brown, Allen Says, and the list could go on for pages.

I won’t do that to you.

I will tell you an old, old story one that you may be familiar with.

Stay with me for a  moment… I have to put on my Red Smith cap real quick.

And we're off to the races…

There’s an old story about the tortoise and the hare who challenged each other to a foot race.

At the starting line, the hare took off quick like a bullet. He looked back to see the tortoise moving along slow and steady, but way behind the hare. So the hare napped. Meanwhile, the tortoise slowly and steadily made his way to the finish line to win the race.

You can take away a great blogging lesson from this fable:

Slow and steady wins the race.

And since salesmanship is the hare and content is the tortoise, you know where to focus your efforts.

I've seen a lot of slick marketers come and go in this business in my ten years as a full-time, but those who were in this business then and still are here now all share one thing in common:

Great content.

Think about it…

You can sell anything with good marketing – once.
A great sales letter can sell a mediocre ebook, a misleading report or even a downright ghastly video.

But as soon as the customers discover the quality of the content, they’re out the door for good.

Some will refund, some won’t, but none of them will ever buy from you again.

You’ve probably also seen people use poor content – even…
“scraper content” – to pull in traffic from the search engines.

Problem is, this content is written solely for the search engines, without any regard whatsoever for the end user.

So while the site might pull in traffic, it’s NOT going to garner any repeat visitors.

Both of the above points are examples of short-term thinking.

This sort of business model always leaves you scrambling for new customers, trying to repair their lost reputation and chasing rather than attracting customers.

Those who practice this type of marketing eventually give up!
Listen, making money doesn’t have to be that hard.

Instead of relying solely on great salesmanship to make money, why not focus on a combination of great salesmanship AND great content?

That way your marketing and sales copy bring the customer into the door – and your great content keeps them coming back again and again.

Which brings us to the next point…

I mentioned Jimmy Brown moments ago.

He was the first affiliate program I ever signed up with back in the early 2000’s.

I think it was back in 2012, Jimmy slowly began retiring all of his great products.

If you didn’t know he was an early email marketing innovator.

Jimmy is also a prolific content creator and has written more best selling products that will blow your mind.

The thing is Jimmy is coming out of retirement.

Last week he rolled out his first official product under the “Earn-Come” name.

The first was a cheat sheet titled “Dream Business.”

The second is titled “Business Briefs.” This is a done for you highest quality content solution that comes with full PLR rights. Over 100 pages of meaty content that you can use to make the bucks, gain a following or even…

Create a Kindle ebook.

There is a secret hidden gem in the sales letter.

That hidden gem is called “The Perfect offer cheat sheet.” Click here to hunt for that free resource now.

Of course, those are my affiliate link. I may get a referral fee if your purchase anything on those pages.

Okay, now that I have introduced you to Jimmy D. Brown, I will tell you a little-known fact about him.

He is the man who started the PLR industry as you know it today.

His content is innovation at the finest level.

You won’t find the content of this high of quality outside of the resell rights industry.

Okay, I won’t hold you up any longer.

How to quickly start an online business and succeed

How To Quickly Start An Online Business

How to quickly start an online business, we will look at what must be done to succeed online.  This formula is very simple and one that most people do not pay enough attention to.  By explaining what to look for online, this will be a great way for you to learn how to start an online business.

When you are looking at how to quickly start an online business, you'll first want to look at a particular field which you are interested in.  You'll want to see whether or not there is a great deal of competition out there because this could affect your decision to get into that particular field.  When you are deciding to start an online business, you usually want to look for a field in which there is less competition so that you can come in with cheap but effective marketing and dominate that niche.

It is often easier to be a big fish in a small pond rather than a small fish in a big pond.  There are many different ways that you can make money on a website and soon you will discover  a couple of  different ways.  You decide to sell products online which you can find through wholesale distributors.  Are able to advertise on your website and sell advertising using programs such as Google's Adsense. You can even sell your products through blog posts and ecomerce sites at either  eBay, Etsy or Amazon.

Another key when you are looking at how to quickly start an online business, is to make sure that you are continually testing and tracking your website visitors.  Once you design your website, you cannot sit back and wait for the sales to come in.  You want to test and track the difference ways in which you have your pages and website built to make sure that you are taking advantage of the traffic coming into your site.  If you do not do this, you could be leaving a considerable amount of money on the table.

Before finishing up here, subscribe to my list so, you can stay up to date on the latest postings.

The next key, when looking at how to start an online business is how you decide to market your website.  There are many companies which you are able to buy traffic from at a very decent price and this can be a good way to supplement your natural search engine traffic.  The way to build natural search engine traffic is through content and developing back links.  Back links are links from other websites to yours so that when search engine  bots are indexing webpages, they will find the links to your web site and index your pages.

If you work on finding a niche, it is easier to pay for traffic  as well as move your way up in the natural search engine pages.  You want to make sure that you are developing both a good site and its contents of the people will want to read what they find and then continually return to your website.  This is a simple formula in your search on how to  quickly start an online business.
