Easiest way to Drive Traffic From Facebook

CB Comics PRO: Drive Easy Traffic From Facebook

I recently went trough William Motley's eBook titled CB Comics Pro, which is an 85 page pdf. It is a three method strategy for getting traffic from Facebook to any affiliate offer you want using raw links. Of course as the same suggest he uses Click Bank as one of the affiliate promotion sites.

However, I will add that this method will work better if you use Cost Per Action (CPA) services, such as MaxBounty, and Share-A-Sale affiliate networks. The easiest way to get involved with affiliate networks is to use shareasale.

Feel free to use my link below to get started with one of the best affiliate networks on the net.

Find a sponsor for your web site. Get paid for your great content. shareasale.com.

Of course Motley, tells you on his sales letter that you don't need to have any of the following...

In order to get in with an affiliate network you need to have a website and once you are in you need to make sure that the network allows Social media traffic. Other wise, the CB Comics strategy will not work for you using affiliate networks. You can easily start your own site for free by using Blogger which is free if you have a Gmail account.

You can also improve your website by getting a good domain name. Check out my domains for sale page in the header of this blog or use the free NameCheap domain finder int he side bar of this blog.

William Motley, also promises that you will make good money using his CB Comics Pro System. Here is his promise from the PDF.

This eBook is pretty well laid out and if you follow the directions you should see some profits pretty fast. Now lets look at how you can add extra traffic to this method just using Facebook.

One of the easiest ways to drive traffic from facebook back to your site is by way of  groups. This method is taught in the CB Comics PRO ebook by William Motley, and will only cost you about $5.00.

I can't ethically show you Motley's money system but I will give you "The key" for making your posting stand out and when done properly will drive a fair amount of traffic to any website you choose.

Add a really good question headline and some persuasive content on you're info graphic in order to introduce you're link. This will allow you to get  more traffic without looking like a spammer.

You can use Canva or Pixler, Snappa or even MS Paint for this method to work. If you need traffic to a blog post, landing page, or a one page sales site here are the steps you need to follow to get the easiest way to Drive traffic from facebook.

  1. Join Facebook Groups: This step is pretty straight forward. Log into facebook and seek out groups in your niche. Simply type your niche in the search bar from your home page, click search magnifier next to the search box and then click on Groups. If you are having trouble click on the image above to expand it. More tips in step four.
  2. Create Your Infographic Or Quote image: Go to your favorite free or paid online graphic creator and simply create an info graphic. Be sure to find an image that matches with the web page that you want to send traffic too. Then add a quote that also matches your blog post or sales page for the text. Without the text it isn't going to be an info graphic.
  3. Get Link: Get the url or web address for the page you want to share and copy and past that in note pad and minimize for later.
  4. Share Your Graphic and Link: Once you have joined several niche groups its time to share your info graphic and link. Be sure to check each group rules making sure that they allow you to post outbound links to your blog or other web sites. Now all you have to do is create a post include your link in the post panel and then add your info graphic or quote image from your phone or hard drive. Then post it in the group. The link should be hidden and the image clickable.

Snappa is the easiest graphic design tool you'll ever use.

There you have it that is just one of the easiest ways to drive traffic from Facebook.  Be sure to subscribe to my RSS feed and Stay tuned for more review strategies.

Blog Speed Ahead

Blog Speed Ahead-How to speed up your blog

Back  in the day, when the Internet was a toddler website speed was a big issue. 26.6kbps  was what every site owner tried keep their site speed load times at because everyone was on a dial-up Internet connection. Then by the year 2000, site load times was 28.8kps. Any higher than that a dial up user would have to wait for the page to load.

Depending on their connection which could range from 24kps a really slow connection to the max of 54kbs.

Most people are on some sort of high speed connection now. But I have talk to a handful of people that still have a dial up connection.

These were the good old days. If you wanted a website you had to learn html and create your own site. Web Monkey at that time was my favorite site because they taught how to create static html sites.

Jumping ahead- six years later is when I discovered blogging. I pickup an eBook about setting up an ad sense blog.  The eBook showed how to code in your ad sense publisher number to display publisher ads on posts. That's how I got started working with CSS & PHP codes and blogging with wordpress sites.

Blog Speed

Let's start with plugins for making your blog speed faster
Now I had over 20 plugins installed and running with 4 disabled. The plugins below is what I ended up with. I also tested themes which we will talk about in a moment.

1.    Akismet
2.    Sharebar
3.    pretty link lite
4.    SeoPressor
5.    Alexa Claim
6.    Banner Genius
7.    Foobox lightbox
8.    Google XML Sitemap
9.    jetpack
10.    maxblogpress favicon
11.    Respnsive add on
12.    Sharebar
13.    Ultimate tinymce
14.    wpGoogle fonts
15.    Yet Another related post
16.    Excerpt plugin

Now I tested 4 themes for the Speed test

Heatmap adaptive, the review theme, WP 2014, and the Socrates 3 theme. The adaptive theme and the review theme were dogs. So I took them off the table. What you are about to see is the results of the testing. this is not a tutorial just logistics.

1.   speed test with review theme

10 built in ways to make money blogging

10 Built-in ways to Make Money from your website

Glad that you decided to join the party…
Welcome to “10 Built-in ways to make money from your Blog,”
It hasn’t gone unnoticed that bloggers want to make money from their sites but…
They just don’t know exactly how to do it. Many imitate what others are doing and this could be disastrous.
 Why?
You don’t know what is going on behind the scenes.
  • Is the blogger posting regularly?
  • What kind of traffic is the blog getting?
  • Are they using paid sources or outsourcing?
And the list could go on, and on.

This is where this post will help you make more money from your site.
In essence, you’re going to discover 10 built in ways that will make your webpage pop!

For the skimmer here is what will be covered on this page:

  • How to covertly add money pages to your blog that attract visitors like bears to honey.
  •
  • How and where to add money buttons that get clicks and what you should do instead of linking to an affiliate or product offer.
  • How Freebies can get your blog even more traffic and money while looking like a hero instead of a zero blogger.
  • How to build your list without looking like a list whore or worse a spammer.
  • How to build in special time-sensitive offers into your blog
  • How one properly positioned graphic strategy taken from “Block Buster Video,” can attract more clicks, than the latest “Star Wars,” Trailer on YouTube.
  • How to build an easy way for your readers to navigate your blog without having to be a pushy offer harlot.
  •  How to sell, without selling, for resellers, Private Label Rights developers and products creators that blog frequently.
  • How not to pay a king’s ransom for design elements that you can easily do yourself, but better you’ll learn these simple tricks.
  • Learn a nasty little secret to "cross-link & multiply" your way to wealth. Only used by the bravest, or possibly craziest, Bloggers.
Stop skimming right now ...

Start learning what you would discover with expensive $500 courses. Free of charge of course.
By the time you finished, I hope you share this post with your friends
The secret is out, that you shouldn’t send your visitors directly to an affiliate offer.
Now we’ll look at how blogging can help you make money.

Use Blogger or WordPress

There are plenty of blogging solutions for you to choose from, including installed software and third-party hosted solutions.  Two of the best platforms is the self-hosted Word Press platform, which you can find at www.wordpress.org, and Googles “blogger,” which is free.

Here are five reasons why word Press is a good choice:

  • It’s easy to install out of the box. It's as simple as clicking a button.
  • It takes no time to start blogging, even for someone without any technical skills.
  • It’s highly customizable and that means there are a lot of different routes you can take to make your site more unique.
  • It’s frequently updated and you can automate the process. Just remember to back up your blog.
  • There are plenty of themes, and plugins you can add for easier function and make your blog stand out from all the others.

By choosing WordPress and you’ll spend less time managing your blog… Don’t know how to install a blog? For the DIY’ers, look it up on Youtube.com or hire someone from Fiverr.com or Upwork.com.

Install the best plugins. The best word press plugins allow you do to things like cutting down on spam, encourage visitors to become interactive and boost your conversion rates by automatically recommending related content elsewhere on your blog.
When I had my WP blog set up I had three sets of rules for plugins:

  1. Only install if it helps speed up your blog
  2. Only install if it helps secure your blog
  3. Only install if it helps make you money

Don’t go crazy installing a ton of plugins, remember the rules.
Plugins will slow down your blog.

So, how many plugins should I install on my blog?
That’s a good question but I don’t have that answer. Although I encourage you to read this blog post titled “What word press plugins are vital to the success of your blog.

Create a “product of the week” or “featured post” section on your blog. You can keep your blog fresh by creating a “featured post” section that highlights a new product every week. To see an example of this special feature, check the navigation at the top of the page that say’s “Product Spotlight.”
The Product spotlight will take you to an affiliate offer.
Offer multi-media. NLP teaches us that different people have different learning styles. That means that some prefer to learn by reading text products, others prefer to listen to audio instructions and still, others prefer hands-on, emotion-based learning. And that means if you use multi-media content – which includes text, audio, AND video – you have a better chance of appealing to a wider audience.

Extra Tip: As an added bonus, offering multi-media also allows you to reach out to those with sight or hearing disabilities.

Encourage discussion and participation. If you encourage discussion on your blog, then you create a sense of community. Not only that but getting your readers to interact with you helps you build a relationship with them. Both of these things result in more affiliate commissions for you.

Here’s how to get interactive members:

  • Blog about something controversial and ask for comments. People tend to reply when it’s an emotional topic.

Example: Ask your dog blog readers which breed is smarter: border collies or poodles?

  • Ask for feedback. This feedback could be about a report you’re writing or even about the features on your blog. Doesn’t matter. The point is to get your readers talking to you.

  • Email your list to tell them about a new blog post. Be sure to ask for their comments.

  • Run a commenting contest.

Example: Ask your readers to write 100 words in the comments on a niche-related topic. Best post wins a product.

Post interviews with product creators. Here’s a nifty way to boost commissions: Interview the product creator and use your affiliate link to pitch the product at the end. Then post the interview on your blog.

Extra Tip: You can post either text or audio interviews. If you’re doing an audio interview, you can give your blog and newsletter readers access to the live call.

Let’s suppose you’re selling a weight loss ebook. You can ask the product creator about one aspect of losing weight, such as how to boost metabolism. Then you point to the book for more information on that topic (as well as weight loss in general).

Blog regularly. Have you ever visited a blog where you noticed the last posting date was months or even years ago? Even if the content is good, you probably didn’t read any further than the front page (since it’s easy to assume the content is outdated). And you definitely wouldn’t visit again.

Likewise, your traffic wouldn’t bother visiting again if your blog looks abandoned. And that’s why you need to post often.

Posting regularly – about once a week – helps make your blog “sticky” (meaning you get more repeat visitors) and it helps you build a relationship with your readers. Bottom line: More affiliate sales!

Post case studies. Another way to boost conversions is to offer some sort of proof that the product works. And you can do that by posting case studies on your blog.

Examples:

·         You’re selling a traffic course. You can post a live case study of how much traffic you received by using the product. For best results, including progress pictures (before and after pictures or screenshots). For a live case study of this example click here.

Create a live journal.  Instead of posting an “after the fact” case study, you can create a live journal where your post your progress and results using a certain product.

Examples:

·         You’re selling a search engine optimization product. You can use the step-by-step instructions to optimize your own site for the search engines and post your results as your page rises or falls in the rankings over the course of three months.

·         You’re selling a “be a better photographer” product. You can create a one-week journal where you take pictures daily to show how your skills are improving.

Hack Your Theme

Whether you use Blogger or Word Press, you should hack your theme to get the most out it. If your new to blogging this might be an intense step but one that you should be ready to embrace. I will admit that WP themes are more easily hack than Google blogger, but Google does allow you to customize the theme you choose.

You can even use third party themes for free or to purchase. Colorlib, is a great place to start. You can also do a search for "Blogger Themes." Click here to learn how to set up your blogger blog.

Now lets talk WP themes.

Word Press is an open source content management system which means that anyone that knows how to code modify it to make it work for their business or someone else. Because of this there are thousands if not millions of themes on the market free and paid.

One of my favorite themes was Multiple Streams theme. It is no longer on the market for sale but it actually had 10 built in ways to make money from just the theme alone. It was created by Jimmy D.Brown, whom also started the whole "PLR" industry that we know it today.

Here is what it looks like.

Pretty sweet! I still love it. I had to install it on my Word Press site just to show you this.

Here are the ten functions that it has built into the theme.

1. List
2. Freebie
3.Product Spotlight
4. Time Sensitive Offers
5.New Releases
6. Offer Buttons
7. Review Tab
8. Recommended Resources Tab
9. About Tab
10. Link to Multiple Streams Theme graphic at the top right of the header.

The problem with this theme is that it was not beginner friendly. You would either have to know how to code HTML or hire someone to add your affiliate links. Fortunately, I know how to code so this was not that big of a deal for me. I might add that I sold several copies of this theme just by offering my coding service to those who bought through my affiliate link.

Of course you probably wouldn't want to use this particular theme today, because it was last updated nine years ago, and is not mobile friendly so you would probably sacrifice you're seo ranking because of it. BUt I do highly recommend this premium WP Theme which I have used for years. It is always up to date, easy to use and there is a forum with all kinds of help.

As long as you add in the elements of mentioned above minus the heavy graphics you should have no problem at all hacking your blog theme in order to get 10 built in ways to make money blogging.

Top 5 Blog Promotion Questions Answered

First, Bloggers pride themselves on a lot of fronts; mainly on content then on link strategies. Blogs are usually about self-expression, and having people read your posts which can be uplifting, not to mention very inspiring.  I know I get excited when I look at my traffic stats.

Second, blogs can be difficult to maintain, and bloggers need to be bursting with ideas and creativity in order to keep their blogs from falling off the virtual blogging cliff..

Third, blogs don’t promote themselves, and the best bloggers are those who are able to spread the word about their blog and get a lot of attention in the process.

As you can guess from the post title it is all about  to promoting your blog, for more traffic, and  readers.

I will be adding to this post when I can. So be sure to book mark it or get the rss by email by adding your best email address in the feed app on the side bar.

 Ready?  lets get started...

Your Top 5 Blog Promotion questions answered

If you're like me, you don't write anything you  don't intend not being read. However, I have seen many bloggers make this mistake. They spend a lot of time getting their blog looking the way they want and writing excellent post that don't get read because they don't take the time to promote.

I have been blogging for over  years now, and I have seen a lot of start up blogs that puttered out within as little few weeks because the blogger got discouraged because of no or very little traffic.

In this post I am going to answer 5 of your top blog promotion questions. Questions that I have ask myself, then dug deep to find the answers for.

Q: What are the best plugins for Blog promotion?
A: If you are using word press on your own domain there are a few plugins that you can use for blog promotion. WP Social is one of the best. Once installed  you will just have to go to settings and click on WP Social Booster then follow the direction or watch the set up videos inside of set up.

Another blog promo plugin is twitter tools. This promo tool will tweet your post link on your twitter board. Great tool if you use twitter.

Rule of thumb about plugins

The more plugins you have installed the more they will slow down your blog, so be conservative. Check my out my post about Blog Speed

Q: What is SEO Content?

A: SEO content is content such as an article, audio, or video that is produced using what is known as keywords that people use to search for on the web. As an example we’re going to start with a type of article that not only promotes your your blog by pulling in traffic from Google and other search engines.

This is referred to as search engine optimized (SEO) content.

How is it created?

By choosing the keywords your market is already searching for in the search engines… and then creating content that will get your blog pages ranked well in the search engines for these keywords. Read on…

Step 1: Choose Your Keywords

Time to go  to WordTracker.com, MarketSamurai.com or  your favorite keyword tool, is enter your broad keywords (like “bodybuilding” or “parrots”), and take a look at the results. The tool will show you how many people search for each of these words in the major search engines.

Obviously, it would be great if you could rank well for a word that gets hundreds or thousands of searches each day. You can just imagine the traffic you’d get. But the thing is, a lot of other marketers are doing full SEO campaigns to rank well for those words. And these SEO experts are good at what they’d do, so they’d easily outrank you for the most popular keywords.

The solution?

Focus on the longtail keywords.

These tend to be four or five word phrases that tend not to have as many people searching for them each day, but they also don’t have a lot of competition. And that means you can rank well for them.

Tip: WordTracker provides a KEI (keyword effectiveness index) value, which gives you an idea of how popular a word is relative to how much competition there is. You want to find words with a value of at least 100, though the higher the better.

Example: A competitive keyword is something like “weight loss.” But a longtail keyword that’s less competitive is “weight loss for women over 40.”

Step 2: Create Content Around These Keywords

Once you’ve created a list of keywords with a high KEI value, your next step is to write articles around them.

You should include your keyword in the title of your article as well as one or two times for every 100 words of content. So if your article is 400 words, your keyword should appear four to eight times in the article.

Example: Using the example above: You can create an article titled “The Secrets of Weight Loss for Women Over 40.” Then you can sprinkle the keyword throughout the article, such as: “Weight loss for women over 40 – is it even possible?” Or, “Maybe you’ve been thinking about weight loss for women over 40…”

All you have to in order to create SEO content is Research your niche keywords and create at least one SEO article and place it on your blog and promote via Social media.Check out  Surefire Idea's for better Blog posts.

Only bloggers with imaginations can do this

5 surefire idea's for better blog posts

Starting a blog is easy – keeping a blog interesting and fresh is a whole other matter.

While many marketers have no trouble beginning a niche blog, the sheer number of abandoned blogs around the 'net speaks to the fact that many marketers don't know what to do to keep a blog going.

The key to keeping a blog going is to post frequently. This means that you're going to need an ever present stream of content coming into your blog.

You may be intimidated by the thought of having to come up with lots of topic ideas. Finding topics for your blog posts are easy if you use the following formula.

1. CAPTIONS.
Your blog should be active and timely and there's no better way to get attention than to tap into some ongoing news. No matter what your niche is you can find news stories and breaking information that will help fuel timely blog posts.

Look for captions, or headlines, to stay on top of things. Sign up for Google Alerts (it's free) and set up alerts on important words in your niche. This way you'll be able to see the news in your niche and blog about current topics.

2. COMMENTS.
The comments section of your blog can be a great source of writing inspiration. Let's say you have a post on your  blog about keyword research. Within the comments section, a few people start asking about how to use keywords in content. Voila! You have your next blog post. Look through your comments section to identify topics that you can write about or questions you can answer in the form of a blog post.

you could also use this method on forums, facebook groups and from your email. All you just need to do is a little digging.

3. Resources.
Are there some websites or other resources that your niche needs to know about? Write a few resource list posts. Resource lists posts are very easy to write and they provide maximum value to your readers because they can get the information that they need easily. When you can't think of anything else to write about you can pull together a helpful resource list for your readers.

4. Pulse.
Keep your finger on the pulse of your niche. Watch other blogs, social media, join Facebook groups and see what they are talking about. You can take a different angle on the same topic, or cover an area of the topic that others may have missed. If you disagree feel free to go ahead and express you own opinion on your blog.

5. Tips.
Start collecting a list of quick tips you'd like to share with your niche. These can be inspired by your personal experience or from other blog posts you've read or from other sources you are involved with in your niche. When you find yourself stuck for blog post ideas, you can write a quick tips post.

These tips just scratch the surface of where you can find ideas for blog posts to populate your blog. Start keeping a notepad file with blog post ideas and you'll never be at a loss for material.

What do you think?

There are many ways to keep track of your idea's while you are doing other things. That is when the light bulb likes to turn on for myself, when I am busy.

Do you have an idea strategy?

If not you may need to get the idea factory by Valerie Parv. This is a great resource for bloggers and writers. I highly recommend it.

How to be smart in a world of dumb ass blogs

Or How to Jump Start & Plan Your Blog

You can be reading a post right now titled... "The Beginners Guide to blogging"
Which would cover all the basic essentials of blogging, right?

You could also be reading a post about content writing, SEO or even blog categories structure for adding content to your blog, etc.

If you have always wanted to start a blog...

Then planning your blog can be the most difficult if you do not know what you want it to be about.

There is an extra learning curve if you do not have the necessary background in managing your blog

However...

knowing what you want to blog about can easily come to you
once you start browsing and poking around other blogs in your niche.

Let me show you how...

Blog Copying Without Copying

You can pick ideas from other blogs you like and follow, Simply cutting sections that you like from each blog for your blog.

The Blogging Categories

Generally, there are several types of blogs and various sub-niches.
Regardless, there are three popular categories of blogs, such as: the organizational, business,  personal and combination blogs.

Let me explain...

The organization blog                                                                                                                        uses the power simple blog software to communicate either externally with the public or internally within their organizations. This kind of blog has the purpose to facilitate internal communications among employees, colleagues and other organizational personnel. This type of blog leaves a paperless trail from the old out dated newsletter you get with your check.

In addition, organizational blogs normally publish information that is of interest to the public. In a certain instance, there are organizational blogs that publish seminar schedules, meetings, and announcements for their clients customers or members.

A grocery store for example; could publish a blog post on manager specials, that are not in their sales ad. The only way to know if the manager decides to reduce the price of eggs would be to read their blog.

The business blogs, on the other hand, are for promoting services or products offered by businesses in order to help increase profits. These kinds of blogs can look for ways to increase their reputation and authority with vendors, customers and partners. They do this by publishing contents that express expertise and knowledge within a specific market portion, nicheor industry.

Personal blogs are those that contain content that are more of a reflection of bloggers’ opinions
and thoughts. Normally, they are used to publish content that voice their points of view on several
kinds and varieties of events and topics.
Bloggers who publish personal contents usually find pleasure in documenting their everyday lives, stream of consciousness and even their hate to specific events through articles that reflects their moods.

Combination Blogs, are blogs that start out as personal blogs, and then blow up into business type  or even organizational blogs.

 The best Approach is...

To Target Your Audience First.

Once you decide on the type of blog you want to create, then you should plan for the type of audience you want to attract. This is your target audience. Before you write a single post, spend some time on the search engines

and on forums.locate your target audience and find out what they are asking questions about and talking about.

Use these resources of information to create contents for your blog.

in order to be effective in establishing communication and expanding readership, you need to provide quality and value for your audience.

Once you identify your target audience and match your messages that you want everyone to know about your blog will be effectively targeted.

Some of the greatest joys  blogging come from the use of having enthusiasm when you write. This tip alone will put you ahead of other bloggers before publishing significant information for a community where there is a free exchange of opinions between your blog readers and you.

How to Add A Custom Domain In Blogger From GoDaddy in 5 Minutes

I watch this video twice and followed the steps it took to add a custom domain in Blogger from GoDaddy and it took just 5 minutes.

My problem started...

When I watch a completely different video that was shorter than this one. The problem with the other was that it didn't tell you to checkmark the redirect from Your-Domain to Name-Blogspot.com

You need to checkmark that box and...

You also need to add "Googles," 4 IP Addresses to your GoDaddy "A" record. If you don't the process will only be half finished and your domain will not show up as your Blogger blog.

When I did this only my favicon showed in the URL tab.

The rest still showed the GoDaddy page.

Tip

Watch the video and in your browser, open two tabs: One for your GoDaddy account and log into your Blogger blog that you want to add a custom domain in Blogger from GoDaddy.

Once you watch the video and follow the tips above you will have your custom domain on your Blogger blog.

Be patient. It took almost 16 hours for my domain to finally resolve.

Create Viral Blog Titles that Get Attention

How to Create Viral Blog Titles

5 Secret Tips for Powerful Blog Titles

Using powerful blog titles the right way can greatly improve the number of people who actually read your blog posts and it will increase readership. Unless your readers click on your latest post from the main page they won’t read and act upon all the good idea’s inside, right?

What does your blog titles say to your readers?

Are they drab and make your subscribers head for the back button or do they breakthrough and meet your readers where they are in their head and make them want to read further?

If you’re struggling to get your blog posts read, there’s no better time than now to give your readers what they want.

These five quick tips will give you actionable steps you can utilize to craft great blog post titles that get noticed and have your readers begging for more.

Read on...

 Maintain Relevance

Make certain your blog post title is appropriate for the subject of your content. A reader who comes to your blog expecting one thing, but receives something completely out of line with what was promised will not trust you anymore.

For instance, if you have a blog about dog training – don’t put up a blog titled…
The #1 Way to Lose Weight Fast”

No one on your blog wants to learn about losing weight. Granted some might be interested in weight loss, but not from the marketing expert.

Remember, one goal of having an instant authority blog is to build expertise and trust with your readers.

Sending them off topic information will accomplish the complete opposite.

Make your blog Titles Short-Sweet and to the point

Let's be honest, people search and get so many results in the search engines these days it's hard to sift through the noise. If your blog title is mediocre or dull and boring the chances of your blog post getting read is slim to none. A good blog title should be short, sweet and to the point.
Get to the point without drawing it out too much.

There are many ways of accomplishing this. The one that works for your blog readers will depend on the subject matter. For instance, some people are drawn to a shocking headline, while others prefer humor and still others just want to know exactly what they are getting.

Here are just a few examples of short, sweet and to the point blog titles to help get the gears turning.

How to Lose 17 Pounds in 5 Days”
The Shocking Truth about Dieting”
The Great Diet Hoax!”
Can You Really Trust Slim Fast?”

No matter which method you use to craft your blog titles, keep it short, sweet and to the point. Make your title stand out from the thousands of other blog titles your readers see every day.

 Be Informative

One sure fire way to get your readers attention and make them click your blog post is to leave them wanting more. You probably already know this trick when it comes to the content within the body of your blog post, but did you know it works just as well with your blog title?

All you have to do is get your readers’ attention then peak their inner curiosity. It seems like everyone is born with at least a small bit of nosiness in their blood. Give them just enough to peak their interest without telling them too much.

Then they’ll follow your lead to learn the rest. It’s the old bait and hook method – works great at the lake and even better with a blog.

 Test & Tweak Your Titles

If you want to make sure your blog titles are doing their job, you’ll need to test and tweak them a bit to get the results you’re after. All you have to do is look no further than your site stats.

Once you publish your post, from your dashboard in the left sidebar click on “site stats” To find your click-through traffic stats. You’ll be able to tell how many people read your post.

A better way to do this is to use a plugin called “Title Rotator”. You can find this plugin by clicking on plugins and “search”. Then use the keyword title rotator. The plugin allows you to input up to 3 blog titles and will rotate each title. This is an excellent way to track which one actually gets open and has the greatest impact on your readers.

After completing a few tests, take the results and learn from them. Make the necessary changes to get the best response. Remember, this works for future posts as well.

Your click rates will increase dramatically once you determine what makes your readers tick.

 Learn from others

Using blog titles effectively is a matter of compiling attention-grabbing and thought-provoking words. Don’t just throw a title out and hope it sticks. Take the time to think it through.
Test it and make adjustments for future posts.

This might seem time-consuming, but the payback will be more than worth your effort. Once you see the difference these small, but extremely important tweaks will make your blog titles pop. You’ll be glad you made the time investment.

Speaking of time investment…

Secret for Creating Powerful-Viral Blog Titles

What if you don’t have the time to spend crafting a powerful blog title?

After all, you already spent anywhere from an hour or two creating the post. You may have to go to bed soon because you have to go to work in the morning.

What do you do?

I’ll tell you...

  • Extract key triggers from the post itself and include them in the title.
  • Open up a copy writing book and rewrite a proven headline into a blog title.
  • Another trick I like to use are magazines.  Go to hardtofindads dot com to read some of the best performing advertisements of all time... most still work!

Get Your Readers Attention

How To Grab Your Readers Attention, please.

The race for supremacy in the internet marketing has been really heating up and many sites have been put up to help others to get ahead for a small fee.

But there are also ways you don’t have to pay so much to make yourself a good list of loyal followers.

Having solid web traffic or readers, allows you to put up a foundation where you can build a list or RSS and make it grow from there.

A list allows you to provide newsletters to your subscribers as extra content. When readers sign up, they know that they will be receiving updates and news from your site and the industry you represent via e-mail.

But that doesn’t mean that all of those who subscribe read them at all. Many lists have been built due to an attachment with free software or for a promotional discount and such.

Some may not really be interested in receiving e-mails from bloggers and just treat them as a waste of cyberspace and delete or trash them without so much as opening the e-mail and scanning through.

You can change all that. While forwarding an email message is relatively after producing your newsletter. Getting people to open them is not as easy. You don’t want to waste all the time and effort used in making the newsletters, you want people to read them and have their interests piqued. Interested enough to go to your website and look around and most especially purchased and acquire your products or services.

One of the numerous ways you can tempt or persuade your subscriber is by providing a well thought out and well written subject. The subject of an email is what is often referred to when a person or a recipient of an email decides whether he or she wants to open or read an e-mail. The subject could easily be regarded as one of the most important aspect of your promotional e-mail.

Your subject must be short and concise. They should provide a summary for the content of the e-mail so that the recipient will have basic knowledge of the content. This is really vital in grabbing the attention of your readers and subscribers. You want your subject to instantly grab the attention of your subscriber and get them to be intrigued to open up your mail. Remember, it is not necessarily true that a subscriber opens up subscribed mails.

A good subject must always be tickling the curiosity of your recipient. It must literally force the recipient to open the mail. A certain emotion must be ignited and get them to open the mail. It is essential to use specific words to get the reaction you need. Keep in mind that the recipient or subscribers spends only a few seconds looking over each subject of the e-mails he receives. You must grab your reader’s attention right away.

There are many forms you can use for your subject. You can provide a subject that says your e-mail contains content that teaches them tips and methods on certain topics. An example of this is using keywords and keyword phrases such as, “How to” , “tips”, “Guides to”, Methods in and others like that.

You can also put your subject in a question form. These may include questions like, “Are you sick and tired of your job?” Or “Is your boss always on your case?” Try to stay on the topic that pertains to your site so that you’ll know that your subscribers have signed up because they are interested in that topic. This form of subject is very effective because they reach out to your recipients emotions. When they have read the question on your subject, their mind starts answering the question already.

You can also use a subject that commands your reader. Statements such as “Act now and get this once in a lifetime opportunity”, or “Double, triple and even quadruple what you are earning in one year”.

This type of subject deals with the benefits your company provides with your product and services.

You may also use the breaking news as your subject to intrigue your subscriber. For example, if you deal with car engine parts you can write in your subject, “Announcing the new engine that uses no gasoline, It runs on water."

This creates curiosity with the reader and will lead them to open the mail and read on, hopefully coming back to your blog.

8 Little known Blog Tips That will Save You Time

8 Little known Blog Tips That will Save You Time & Money

You have just finished setting up your blog by creating quality content, uploaded your logo and presented  some of your affiliate promotions, products, and services . You have added propositions and promos to catch your target audience’s attention. You have achieved the do's and don’ts of building an authority site. But why isn’t your blog a major success?

Maybe you’re not planning which is the key to the best promotion for your blog Here are 8 tips that will save you time and money.

1. Video isn't just for Vloggers, it is imperative you use video for almost every post you publish. The reason is that most people like video. It takes less time to watch and listen to a video than read the content. But if your a blogger, word press doesn't make it easy, to organize your vid content. Even with the best HTML 5 video plugin installed. That is until now...

Vivek Sharma and Yaz Stone, created the EZ WP Plug-N-Player, which will self host your video's on your server without the need of scripts or a special hosting account.

it is Simple and Easy to Use: - Upload Videos in your Wordpress Website like any other media and grab the media links, videos can be in MP4, WebM, OVG Format, use simple short codes to put them in any post or page.

Highly Customizable: - Customize video to auto play, hide controls, add poster, loop it or play as muted video

Click here to learn more about the EZ WP Plug-n-Player plugin.

2..SEO Content Strategy: This is a good long term strategy that you can do with your content. Once you decide on a topic use Google's keyword planning tool to find "keywords" that your potential audience is searching for. Use a medium keyword (less competition) in your title and once every 100 words and at the end of the post

2.  List your blog in all of the top search engines and directories. This would give your blog the traffic you deserve and always wanted. Make sure to check your blog ranking to know whether or not this type of free promotion is working for you.

3.Make a deal with other bloggers on bloggerlinkup.com and begin sharing each others content as guest bloggers and cross promotions with advertising or even better small reports or email swaps, which could help both blogs.

4. Local Free Classified ads could boost the promotion of your blog especially if you are selling psychical goods or services . These ads could be seen by other people who you are not targeting for, but may be interested in your services. I would start with Craigslist.org for your local area even if the service you provide can be used around the world.

5. There is something to say about your local market. Local businesses will see you as one of "us," and not some stranger from another part of the country or world. They will trust you and respect your service because you are local.

6. Free and low-cost internet banners are spread all through out the World Wide Web. Banners that pop-up at the top of a page or in a separate window would automatically catch your target audience’s attention. Heck even banners that pop under sneak their way into your audiences view.
This tactic would mix great with linking up with other bloggers. Give it a try.

7. If your blog and its free promotion did not work even after accomplishing these methods, analyze your blog. Track down all visitors, advertisements, and transactions. Then locate errors in with your blog. Upload new content at least 3 times a week to your blog.  By continuously providing new content for you're audience keeps your blog from going stale and while keeping it updated.

Be ready to try the methods that work for you over again and scheduled them into your regular traffic system. It has always been said that the best things in life are always free. I would have to agree with that statement. And as soon as your free blog promotion proves to the audience its worth keeping, then you’ll believe it’s true as well.

Okay, if you have any blog traffic tactics that work well for you, tell me about it in the comment section below.
Or if you have any questions related to today's post ask away and I will give you my best answer. Really I won't hold any secret traffic tactic back.

Thank you for reading Save Time and Money with these 8 blog Tips that will save you time.

Blogger Blogging The Complete Guide

Blogger Blogging: The Complete Guide

This guide details every aspect of developing a popular and profitable blog using Googles free blogging platform "Blogger:  Every detail from technical setup, content creation, traffic generation, link building, social media & monetization are covered!

Blogger Blogging What you should know

Setting up a blog is remarkably simple.  I recommend that you use Google's "Blogspot.com" platform for your first blog. The reason you should start with this blog platform is simply because it is easy to get started and it is free to use. Besides that is what I am using and your about to learn how to setup a blogspot blog, just like the one you're reading here.

5 great reasons why I suggest Blogger over WordPress For New Bloggers

  1. Free to use-Don't have to fork out any money to get started.
  2. NO hosting fee's: free hosted blogging platforms
  3. Don't have to learn how to FTP or use C-Panel to get up and running.
  4. Integrates easily with social media, YouTube.com, and other Google related sites.
  5. HTTPS: When you have a self hosted blog or any website with your own domain name and hosting, your site is not secure server certified, unless you pay for that certificate with your hosting company. I don't know exactly how much that costs, but I imagine it is expensive. Search engines may give you better rankings when you set up a blog with Blogger, because you will be taking advantage the Blogspot authority. And because  blogspot is certified secured, that means you won't get an annoying message from your browser that states: The site you want to go to is not SAFE. Go Back to Safety.

Let's face it, you are probably a little confused at this point, if you have read any blogging books, or some of the bigger blogging blogs such as John Chow blog or Darren Rowse "Pro-Blogger."
Most of these Top bloggers suggest using self hosted wordpress blog.

This is fine, especially if you already have a self hosted site up and running.

So, what changed. Simply,  I use to set up Blogger blogs as a link wheel's to my self hosted Wordpress blog and found that those Blogger blogs of mine began outranking my main sites.

I have had several self hosted word press blogs starting with my first plumbing blog that was actually a direct response blog, set up for capturing leads for my plumbing business. then something changed, I began testing Blogger blogs with Adsense and affiliate marketing and found that my results were even better than hosting my own site.

However, I really suggest that if you are new to blogging or don't want to spend $100 or so right now that you set up a Blogger blog at blogspot.com, over using a self hosted WordPress blog at the start. The main reason many bloggers tell you to set up a blog on your own property is because, Google, at anytime, can shut your blog down without notice.

It happens, it happened to my mentor Marlon Sanders.

If you decide to go down the path of self hosted WordPress blog platform then you will need buy a domain, hosting and learn how to set it all up or hire a webmaster to do it for you.
That means you’re going to spend around $50 to $100 and if you decide to outsource the process much more.

Let’s keep it simple and free until you grow and are making some money before going the self hosted route.

The Blogspot Myth

The myth with free blogging sites like Blogger, were notorious for removing blogs at their whim, even if they were very high quality.  WordPress.com doesn’t allow you to put advertisements on your blog at all if they host it. This is why I went with Blogger, because Google owns Adsense and once you have some good traffic and plenty of posts you should apply for an Adsense publishers account.
This feature will be in your Blogger dashboard under the "earnings," tab when you are ready.

I have been using Blogger for a few years now and have never been removed from their network. In my humble opinion Google “Loves” itself, and they want you to use their tools.
Now if you decided to blog about illegal, or politically incorrect stuff then you might want to set up a self hosted blog.

I can’t promise that your site won’t be removed. I highly recommend keeping a copy of every post you make in a folder on your hard drive and back-up at least once every week. This is just incase you do need to go the self hosted route, or your blog does get shut down. WordPress, has a plugin that can import your blogspot blog over to a self hosted blog. This way the only thing you lose is time and some traffic.

Not the end of the world.

Benefits to having a Blogspot blog

Back in the day, not that many years ago, Rob Benwell, created a product titled blogging to the bank. The first ebook, was about setting up affiliate blogspot blogs.
One strategy he taught is to set up a blogger blog as your main website. Quick and easy.
Another strategy is to set up a Blogger blog as a method to get links to your main websites.

When you set up a blog with Blogger it will be created as a sub domain on the blogspot.com domain. (For instance https://wrcato-webmaster.blogspot.com/ ) Notice the HTTPS.

That means you get all the link juice that comes from an authority site like blogger, which is a great thing for you.

To take advantage of this strategy for the search engines, you'd want to create a "mini blog" on Blogger that links back to your own website. This is a similar concept to adding articles to an article directory, though you have more control over the blog with less traffic, than using article directories sites.

The more blog posts you add, the more likely you are to be found by other Blogger.com users, by way of the search feature at the top right corner, just under the address bar, and you're website should rank more highly in the search engines because your blog is coming from such a respected domain.

Today, you can actually get traffic to your blogspot blog or your website of choice, by participating on social media sites such as FaceBook, twitter, DIgg, a must for blogspot bloggers among a host of other Killer traffic strategies that this blog will get into at a later time.

Make Money Blogging

Blogging is a great way to make money if you create profitable blogs.  The sad fact is, “most people just don’t understand what it takes to make a profitable blog.”
Blogging about what you had for dinner isn’t likely to make you a lot of money unless you’re already relatively well-known for something else, or a slapstick comedian that happens to go viral.

I’m not saying you should post some information about you and your personal life on your blog.  This can actually help your readers get to know you a bit better, which will make them want to visit your site even more.  But the majority of your posts should be geared toward a specific niche topic that has the potential to make you money.

From this section you're going to discover some ways to find profitable topics to blog about.  Some topics will just naturally be more profitable than others.  Finding the topics that will be highly profitable will make you more money with less work, and ultimately that is what you should be looking for.

I won’t actually say blogging is easy.  It’s easy compared to plumbing or flipping burgers.  And it’s easy when you think about the fact that a typical blogger spends only a few hours per week blogging.  But it does take work.

Don't be fooled to expect to make one post per month and make thousands of dollars, and you can’t expect to make ten posts and never touch the blog again and have it make you a full time income.
Most people who make money blogging actually run multiple blogs. I have at least, 6 blogs in various niches. It is certainly possible to make outstanding money with just one, but the odds are better if you run several.

I would suggest starting with just one, building it up to a nice income, and then starting another.  If you put up one after the other, there is a tendency to not promote each one adequately, and then they don’t make as much as they should.

It’s much better to start out with a single blog and promote it fully before moving on to the next one. Listening to this advice, will save you a ton of time, money and many headaches. With the pep talk out of the way, let's dive into how to choose a topic for your blog.

Choosing A Great Topic For You're Blog

Choosing a topic is the first step in setting up your blogspot blog, or any type of blog you want to get started.  If you choose a topic that doesn’t have good profit potential, you’ll be wasting your time.
Not every topic will be well-suited for money blogging.  Just because a topic has a large amount of traffic doesn’t always mean it will make you a lot of money.

You need to look for topics with the following qualities:
  • Plenty of traffic available.
  • People who are willing to buy something.
  • Plenty of advertisers or affiliate programs available.
  • Reasonable level of competition.
When it comes to competition, I’m not afraid to go after the high-competition niches.  I have a lot of experience and I know I can select keywords that I can rank for and make money with.
When you first get started, you may want to stick to niches that don’t have so much competition.  It can be tough to rank well in the search engines when you’re just getting started, so choosing niches with a bit less competition can help you see results faster. that will keep you motivated.

Of course, you don’t want to choose phrases with too little traffic, either.  Sure, there shouldn’t be a lot of competition for those phrases, but ultimately they won’t make you much money, either.  Even if you got 100% of the traffic for a search term that got only 20 hits per day, it wouldn’t be a lot of traffic.

Traffic = money

So the key is finding a good balance of traffic versus competition, at least in the beginning.  You need to search for niches that have thousands of searches per day overall, but that have several keyword phrases that don’t have an enormous amount of competition.

We’ll get into keyword research in the next section  When searching for niche ideas, there are several places you should look:

Amazon – I like to browse through the nonfiction books and magazines.  There are literally thousands and thousands of ideas here, and I can do keyword research on any niche that looks interesting and potentially profitable.  If there are numerous books and magazines about a topic, it’s probably profitable.

Discover A Hobby – This is a website I discovered years ago, that has over 100 hobbies and sports listed.  There are plenty of ideas here to get you started.

WebMD – This site is a medical site that lists symptoms and other information about practically every medical issue known to man.  There are thousands of niche ideas here, and medical niches are often extremely possible, especially if you’re running AdSense on your blog.

Libraries & Bookstores – I enjoy spending time in libraries and bookstores for recreational purposes, but I find plenty of niche ideas here as well.

Dummies.com – This site lists thousands of topics that you can build a niche blog around.  If a book has been published by For Dummies, it’s probably profitable.

Project Gutenberg – The most visited site when it comes to Public Domain eBooks. This site takes old out-dated books and preserves them digitally. You can find a ton of topics by browsing their catalog. Cooking-dog breeds-gardening, it’s all there waiting for you to start a niche blog.

I like to make a list of about 20 or 30 topics, then do keyword research on those topics.  I find that blocking the work into similar tasks really helps me get things done more efficiently than researching one potential niche, then doing keyword research, then finding another niche, and researching it.

It’s also best to stick to niches you have an interest in for your first few blogs.  You don’t absolutely have to do this, but it does help you stick to your business plan if you have at least some interest in the subject.  It can get boring writing a lot about a topic you have no interest in.
Once you have a list of potential topics, it’s time to move on to keyword research.

The Key to the Blogosphere is Keyword Research

Keyword research is the process of finding out how much traffic potential phrases have, and how much competition those phrases have.  It is a critical component of blogging, especially in your early stages.

Most of your blog traffic will undoubtedly come from search engines early on.  Later, you might get more traffic from repeat visitors or referrals, but when you get started, search engine traffic is vital.
There are numerous places to do keyword research.  I only use free keyword resources, because I find them to be perfectly adequate, if not better than paid sources.  Plus, paid sources generally get their information from the free sources, anyway!

I use the Google keyword planning tool more than anything else.  Since it comes straight from Google itself, it is much more accurate than anything else in terms of keywords and traffic.
Since your going to be blogging using Blogspot, it makes sense to set up a free adwords account, so you can take advantage of the keyword planner tool.

Once you get your Adwords account set up, log right on into it.

I start by going to the Google keyword planner entering a general topic into “search for new keywords using a phrase, website or category.” Then I click “Get ideas."

That gives me a list of dozens, or hundreds of keyword phrases for that particular niche.  What I look for is the overall volume of traffic within that niche.  I can get a rough idea of the total amount of traffic by looking at the top 5-10, so I click the text at the top that says “Global Monthly Search Volume” to sort by traffic.

I used the phrase “Blogging”.  These were the results:

1. Blog sites 22,000
2. free blog  12,100
3. free blog sites 12,100
4. what is a blog 18,100
5. blog websites 9,900

As you can see, there are over 22,000 searches for the first phrase alone each month.  This tells me that this is probably a niche worth pursuing, especially since I can later find that there are thousands of affiliate products available.

Another way to gauge profitability is to look at the column that says “Competition” (You’ll see that once you download the keyword file.)

Next you want to find out how much competition there is.  You can do that by taking several of the higher-traffic keyword phrases and entering them directly into the Google search.

This shows that about 7,050,000 ,000 pages in the Google index are using the exact phrase “Blogging” on their site.  This number can fluctuate as Google updates its databases, but it’s generally pretty accurate.

Ideally, you want to look for phrases that have at least 1,000 searches per month and fewer than 100,000 competing pages.  This gives you the best chance to rank well for those phrases.

You can also target the extremely competitive phrases.  As your site ages, and gathers backlinks (links from pages within your site and links from other sites), it may very well rank for the more competitive phrases.

But you should concentrate mostly on the less competitive phrases in the beginning.  What you want is to make the most possible money for the time spent, and using the less popular keyword phrases is the best way to accomplish this.

You’ll want to start your blog with about ten articles, and then you should post at least three times a week. When you start promoting your blog, you don’t want it to look like a ghost town with only one post.

That means you should find at LEAST 62 keyword phrases to start with.  That would be for your first 10 postings to start with and then one for each month for the next year.  That’s one per week for a year (52 weeks), plus your initial 10.

The reason you want to gather them all up front is because you will probably want to go ahead and write a few month’s worth of blog posts and set them to automatically post on a regular basis. This way the blog runs on complete autopilot for a number of months, updating regularly whether you are around or not.

One of the main reasons I like running niche blogs so much, is the fact, that it’s passive income.  Once the blogs are created and set to update blog posts, you don’t have to touch them anymore that year unless you want to change the affiliate programs I’m using or make minor changes to ad placements and answering comments.

Once you do your initial research, find your niche, and gather keywords for blog post and your blog title, I encourage you to start writing at least 10 blog post and link them to other posts and/or pages on your blog. This is called internal linking and it is good for better seo scores.

Creating Your First 10 Posts

Create Content Around The Keywords you found in the last step.

Once you’ve created a list of keywords with a high KEI value, your next step is to write articles around them.

You should include your keyword in the title of your article as well as one or two times for every 100 words of content. So if your article is 700 words, your keyword should appear seven times in the article.

Example: Using the example above: You can create an article titled “The Secrets of Weight Loss for Men Over 40.” Then you can sprinkle the keyword throughout the article, such as: “Weight loss for Menover 40 – How to Acheive the Impossible?” Or, “Maybe you’ve been thinking about weight loss for men over 40…”

If this sounds difficult then just write your article naturally and then count your keywords in the article once you finished. If you use your keywords more frequently or less, this would be a good time to edit your article and adjust the keyword frequency. Over doing the keyword will make your article look spammy and not having your keyword enough... well, your article will not rank in the search engines.

Two Types of Blog Posts You Should Create

The top ten blog post is just what it sounds like. It is simular to the list article because it is easy to read and for your readers that like to scan, which brings up another point; whether you start with a top 5 or ten or even a list post you need to make the posting as interesting as possible. Don't be afraid to allow your personality to shine through. If you ever watch David Letterman, he always started his show off with a top ten "funny" list.  All you need to write a top ten list is to share niche specific  tips, resources, products, blogs, people, books or most anything else that’s relevant.

If you are an affiliate then it is fairly easy to promote a product within these types of blog posts.

Here are a few examples...

Top Ten Books Every Corvett Lover Ought to Read – here you can list ten books using your affiliate links (along with a few lines about why      all Corvett lovers should read these books).

Top Ten Tips for Bloggers with low self esteem – this is a useful blog post. Here you’d simply list the top ten tips that will help bloggers with low self esteem to reach out to other bloggers, to promote one of their blog posts, to leave comments on another blog and so on.

Top Ten Articles of the Year – You can send your readers to other people’s blog posts and articles. Creating this type of useful list can serve as “link bait” – that is, your compilation is so useful that others just can't help but to link to it.

You can always use the Letterman format of descending instead of asending.

Here's what I mean...

Start with number ten and work your way down to number one. Or visa versa. Do you see the usefulness of the top ten list?

The Q & A Post

This type of blog post is a great way to promote reader interaction on your blog. If you have been following the latest Google update you may have noticed that there are Q & A snippets on the google search engine.

They look like this...

Here is how simple it is to create a Q & A Post

Visit niche specific forums, Facebook groups, search for questions on twitter, type question into the search engines and make not of the most frequent question. Then all you have to do is write the question in list forum and then simply answer them then hit publish.  You can even
make a weekly “Question and Answer” feature on your blog, where your readers submit questions and you answer one or two each week.

Example #1: Your reader asks, “What’s the best way to get free traffic to a sales page?” You answer the question providing useful tips… and then point them towards a traffic-generation product for more information using your affiliate link.

Example #2: Your reader asks, “How do you check if a fuel pump works on a ’55 Chevy?” You offer your step-by-step instructions… and then provide affiliate links to a fuel pump and the tools needed to carry out the instructions.

Recently I have been answering questions on regular post when necessary. Google seems to love questions and placing the answers directly on the search page. The only thing that I have seen above the rich snippets are paid advertising. If you want to put in the work to get all your answers into the snippets, this could give you a lot of visitors to your blog post(s) where they originated from.
