Blog Speed Ahead-How to speed up your blog
Back in the day, when the Internet was a toddler website speed was a big issue. 26.6kbps was what every site owner tried keep their site speed load times at because everyone was on a dial-up Internet connection. Then by the year 2000, site load times was 28.8kps. Any higher than that a dial up user would have to wait for the page to load.
Depending on their connection which could range from 24kps a really slow connection to the max of 54kbs.
Most people are on some sort of high speed connection now. But I have talk to a handful of people that still have a dial up connection.
These were the good old days. If you wanted a website you had to learn html and create your own site. Web Monkey at that time was my favorite site because they taught how to create static html sites.
Jumping ahead- six years later is when I discovered blogging. I pickup an eBook about setting up an ad sense blog. The eBook showed how to code in your ad sense publisher number to display publisher ads on posts. That's how I got started working with CSS & PHP codes and blogging with wordpress sites.
